		<description>You are so right the whole complaints procedure is a fiasco - there is no transparency, the parents have no right to the minutes from a panel of governors so there is no way for the parent to know whether the minutes are correct. If the governors don&#039;t act, the LEA have no powers, it is just a time sink of inaction with the heads of schools being a law unto themselves. There is no way for you to protect your child from injustice with the complaints procedure as it stands. There is no &quot;duty of care&quot; and &quot;every child doesn&#039;t matter&quot; Parents who have a legitimate complaint are made to feel they are an inconvenience and being unreasonable. Reputations are more important than individual children&#039;s welfare. If a school looks to good to be true then it probably is, all schools have problems. But if the head doesn&#039;t log complaints and brushes them under the carpet instead, well then there isn&#039;t a problem. Problems of a serial nature cannot be noted and dealt with if they are not being logged.</description>
